Coolsculpting is a great option for fat reduction as results are similar to liposuction and the treatment is completely non-invasive. The ideal client for this procedure would be anyone with pinchable fat.  Bulges of fat such as fat on the love handles, back fat, chin fat (double chin), bra fat, outer thighs, abdomen and upper arms are often hard to get rid of with diet and exercise.  Some would describe these areas as “hard to treat fat” even with vigorous diet and exercise.

 

CoolSculpting technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen). CoolSculpting Procedure

The Coolsculpting treatment will take 1 hour per area.  Normally 1-2 sessions is required for best results. Prior to treatment a cool gel pad is applied to the skin and there is a suction from the hand peice which is necessary to treat the fat. There is high patient comfort as once the hand piece is applied to the skin it does not move for 1 hour. Post treatment a massage is performed on the area and some numbness is expected for a few weeks post treatment

 

 

Post The CoolSculpting Procedure

Post treatment the area may feel numb for the weeks following treatment while the fat is depleted from the body. There is no downtime, however, bruising can occur. More commonly clients report tenderness and redness in the area. Many clients notice results 2 weeks post treatment however the average is 2 to 4 months for full results. If you are considering more than 1 session on the same area treatment intervals are 4 weeks apart.
