Our business model involves seeking out and purchasing large tracts of land in specific states that are suitable for large-scale solar photovoltaic and battery storage projects, developing the various permits that allow for the construction of those projects and then working with others to facilitate the construction and ongoing operation of those Renewable Energy installations.

Role: The open Real Estate Project Manager role requires a candidate with a self-starter attitude who is equally comfortable doing web-based research and spending days on the road talking to realtors and land-owners and who thrives in a task-oriented environment. Tasks include:

• Identify parcels of land suitable for solar pv + battery storage systems
• Negotiate with brokers and land-owners to purchase the land
• Procure all required Municipal, Electric Utility Company and other permits necessary to construct and operate the renewable energy facility
• Operate independently to map and follow all of the steps necessary to originate and shepherd multiple projects to completion - on time and on budget
• Role is based in our New Milford, CT office - THIS IS NOT A REMOTE ROLE. No Relocation paid
• Some professional experience is critical
• Must have computer and writing skills
• Must have an interest in and ability to take responsibility for a range of tasks and be excited at the chance to execute them independently
• Must want to work in a small company environment and be focused on earnings rather than advancement
• Reports to the Director of Real Estate Development
• Laptop provided
• Must have a reliable car and valid driver's license. No car allowance, but we pay all gas for company travel
• 25%-35% Travel required with some overnight stays

Compensation: Base pay PLUS bonus for each project completed ($20k per project).

Benefits: Benefits are FULLY PAID and available after three months of employment.Medical insurance through Anthem BC/BS; Vision and Dental Insurance though United Healthcare; 401K (no match) provided. 15 Days of annual Paid Time Off earned with days worked. Limited work from home after three months of employment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
